    Further, I just realized that an SD card I had previously used as ReadyBoost now says it does not have the required performance necessary. Good Lord!!!!! Its 8GB formatted NTFS and empty.

    Where would I see "the Results"?
    I typed in the command line: sfc /scannow

    It should be doing the Scan now the Result should appear in the CMD Window ...

    There is no window....I see a brief flicker of the CMD window but it disappears in a millisecond
