    It's funny that they attempt to "pass the buck" on that one. :)

    "...other programs or services running on your computer can conflict with Avast software..."

    Then turn around and give you instructions on how to remove their filter.

    In any case, glad you got it working.

    HaHa. That's pretty rich. I've never heard a company try to put THAT slant on that problem before!! Especially when it's their product not working with Microsoft

    p.s. and i concur with the others: you're current driver is fine. You don't need the Avast filter if you aren't using the Avast product.
