Darn. Is it possible to run it in some kind of 32bit compatibility mode? I think the problem is that it doesn't support 64bit, from my limited knowledge. If not, I'll just call it a loss and it'll probably collect dust on my shelf.
Please be aware of this. I cannot nor will I support the use of this device knowing where it comes from. What you do is your choice. Can it be run it 32bit? possibly if the exe can be found and set to load in compatibility mode. I cannot with good conscience advise you on that.

Good luck with it and I will have my fingers crossed that your PC and Info are safe.

This SKU has more options in *******.com

    - Color: Red + yellow
    - Material: ABS
    - Interface: USB
    - The door opens or light shines and sound alerts when then mail reaches (reaches What exactly?)
    - User could set the sound of music (syntax)
    - Supports POP3 protocol
    - Could view the numbers of new mail (Very poor syntax is usually a result of translating from other languages)
    - Compatible multiple operating systems (ok.....and what would they be? Most likely 32bit win 98)
    - Packing list:
    - 1 x USB hub (85cm-cable)
    - 1 x CD

Hm. How would you set compatibility mode for 32bit? I can only see options for different operating systems, like Win 95 or Win Vista.

xp was mostly 32 bit, anything before was only 32 bit (some exceptions not worth mentioning.
    You got a hint.

As a side note to this I have had first hand experience with "novelty" usb devices. I had a customer come in with a Zero access infection. I removed the infection and it was working better than it had in months. customer returned 2 days later with the same infection. Swears he didn't click on anything in email or gone to any sites other than yahoo news. So I had him think and recount every thing he did. During his recounting he mentioned a novelty "monkey f-ing a football" given to him as a gag gift from a friend. Seems this was one of his common sayings. I asked him to bring it in. He returned with said novelty and essentially tried to call me a paranoid liar.

I plugged it into my Linux Hard drive testing machine an immediately was presented a box saying Linux could not find a program to open this type of file. A nice little self executing exe with -s -a tags. silent and not sure what the -a tag was for, full on zero access installer. Chalk one up for China infections.

Needless to say I was no longer paranoid nor a lair.
