Windows 7 not allowing me to edit the "drivers" folder

So basically, I'm trying to restore some "Misplaced" drivers using a somewhat direct method of simply copying them from the File Repository into my drivers folder. Simple enough. The problem is that Windows 7 decides to shout at me because apparently I need permission from "drivers" to edit drivers. How can I basically give Windows the finger and edit this folder anyway?

Also, before you start going into a complex subject of file dependencies and security issues, I get it. Messing with important folders like these and system config files will mess up my PC badly, IF, of course, I don't know what I'm doing. Honestly, I don't exactly know what I'm doing, but copy paste is usually the best of solutions, so screw it. Besides, this laptop is in its dying days too, and I've already screwed it up enough, what harm could this small driver edit do, y'know, apart from mess up security, but hell, who's ever needed "Security" anyway?

Normally this site is somewhat smart about all of their answers so if you have a better solution that will do this without the risk, go right ahead. And if I don't get a useful answer here, I may end up asking reddit, and god only knows what kind of answers I'll get there.
