Ethernet Controller issue, cant install drivers or detect devices

    maxie , i have already tried installing that drivers a couple of times before , and it always fails. like the few images i have posted a few post back.

    I didnt overclock anything? i just left it at stock clock. where did u see that i have overclocked?

    And just now my adapter suddenly started working , but after a reboot it went back to failing again.
    So , doubt that the card is spoilt?

    What version of BIOS are you running? It looks like you have an outdated version. Double check yourself before doing the BIOS update. Verify this is the right download link for your board Motherboards | M5A99X EVO R2.0 | ASUS USA

    p.s. The tech note for each of the later revs are either "Improve system stability" or"Enhance compatibility with some USB device". Hopefully, those are telling and might apply to your problem(s)
