No Intel (R) Adapters installed
trying to install Win 7 Ultimate. and this is a "Build version" of Win 7 Ult, so apparently has no drivers built in ??? wtflyingchickenwing ? I have Win 7 Pro as well and installed that, then, tried to upgrade to my Win 7 Ultimate. WONT let me install it, refuses to execute autorun or setup.exe..
I cant even get Intel drivers from Intel to install, as it keeps kicking it back as " No Intel (R) adapters present".. this is a custom build, Asrock MB, AMD 6 core, 8 gb mem, gigabyte 2GB video card, Antec 900 case, 750watt power supply.. all new hardware..
I had XP pro on the old parts, and have also tried to upgrade ( I know, cant jump from one to the other, was selecting custom install, not just upgrade ) to Win 7 Ultimate, and still get the same very basic looking Win 7 when it finishes. it looks like NO drivers at all are installed. No ethernet, no anything. just whatever the MB has built into its ROM..
soooooooooooooo,, since this is a "Builders Version" of Win 7 Ultimate, am I just screwed and have to by a regular "Best Buy" version of Win 7 ultimate ???? or anyway I can get the drivers and download them AND get them to install..
I have downloaded as many of the Intel drivers as I can, and tried to install them without luck... ANY help or advice appreciated.. Never had an issue with a clean install before..
