    Acer 5742ZG Net-driver colliding with newest avast antivir version


    Hi,

    after installing newest version of avast, internet connection doesn't work (dns server not responding). When I turn off web-shield of avast or return back to previous version then it works.
    After reading another forum I considered that problem is caused by network-adapter (at home I use cable connection). At school or libraly there is no problem with wireless adapter and internet works.

    I have this driver: Broadcom LAN Driver 14.0.1.0 10.8 MB
    Acer Aspire 5742ZG Windows 7 Drivers (x64-64 bit) - GetDriver
    But where to find another or from another manufacturer? Or can I get for another (similar) notebook model?
    At notebook-manufacturer site (acer) there is available the same driver for my model like on getdriver site.

    Solved: I downloaded newer driver version from here: Acer Aspire M5-581G Free Driver Download for Windows 7 - Lan_Broadcom_15.0.0.6_W7x64_A.zip

Whats currently the newest w7 version? and will they upgrade that 1 aigan to an higher level? i have build 7260 can i just upgrade it to an higher level or do i need to reinstall everything?
I'm currently using Windows 7 Build 7068 (beta) and if I read right, it will start to reboot every 2 hours starting tomorrow. What's the newest version of windows 7x64 that uses RC keyes? (I read b7264 uses different keys)
