USB drivers not working on my ASUS ROG Laptop

This is a long story people so bare with me. Just the other night a program on my ASUS Laptop called 'ASUS Live Update' recommended a few updates for my PC. I allowed the update, and once it was finished downloading all of the updates, it prompted me to restart my PC, so i did. When my laptop loaded up again it said that the update for my USB drivers did not install correctly, and from that point forward, NONE of my USB devices were working anymore. My PC would no longer recognize any USB device that i connected to my computer. I did some research and tried re-installing the drivers, but that didn't work. I tried Microsoft Fix It, that didn't work either. So i called up ASUS and they made me try a few things, and that didn't work either. After I tried everything, they said there is no other solution they can give, but to have me send in the Laptop for repairs, and they want to charge me $150 to get this fix, when it was their program that initially messed up my drivers. If somebody could please help me fix this, i am in desperate need. Thank you so much. -DJN

Please fill out your System Specs.

Do you have a restore point set before running the updates? Can you post a screenshot of Device Manager please. And get rid of that ASUS program, it's not worth the hassle.

Restoring my PC was one thing ASUS told me to do. I tried it and got this error:

System Restore did not complete successfully. Your computer's system files and settings were not changed.
An unspecified error occurred during system restore. (0xc0000022)

I updated my specs, and heres a screenshot of device manager: Gyazo - 792297360230947985de23d8ad1022e7.png

Open an elevated command prompt, type in sfc /scannow and hit enter.

Okay, it says, "Windows resource protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them."

I'll say this as nicely as I can; show some patience. I understand you want your computer back working but you must understand that the people who offer help on this site offer it for free in our spare time. Your thread spans Saturday night and Sunday morning/afternoon here in the UK and I've been helping my kids with their homework as well as doing other family stuff.

Now, first of all can you upload your Device Manager screenshot directly to this forum, I won't follow that link. Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums

Secondly, what model is your ASUS laptop? I'm not going to be guessing at it.
