Is this free open-source Driver Pack Download site legit?

I never saw it before googling today for Win7 drivers for Asus x550LC. Ultrabook Asus X550LC. Download drivers for Windows 7 / Windows 8 (32/64-bit)

After watching a 60 second ad I was able to download the full 7 Driver pack for this Win8 PC which only offers drivers for 8. It extracts a Download Manager that appears to have the full set of drivers:

So I test downloaded both WLAN drivers to upload for OP to OneDrive, went ahead and referred OP for any missing after all WIndows Updates are done. Can't install windows 7 on new asus laptop Solved - Windows 7 Help Forums

Is it too good to be true? Where has it been all my life?

It's clean on VirusTotal, and seems to have good ratings.

The mandatory requirement to use a bundled download manager is suspicious. It may install some "Potentially Unwanted Programs" ( PUP ) silently - there is no free meals.

I had it's Download Manager in my SysTray while pulling his WLAN drivers off it. I agree it gave me the creeps until scanned with MBAM and SAS which came up clean.

What an awesome find ! going to save a lot of time and swearing on my part that's for sure haha... What I do when forced to use a download manager is install / run it on a virtual system using Virtual Box that consists of just a basic Win7 install with no AV etc and then transfer whatever it is I have downloaded over to yet another virtual system that has AV etc installed and analyse the downloaded file from there before moving it to the target machine... after that I just restore both virtual systems from a snapshot and they are good to go again.
Sounds like a bit of fuss and a lot of effort and it is but at least if there is anything nasty its not going to do any damage to the host system... so in that respect well worth the effort.
