    Missing Drivers?

Cant find the drivers for Base System devices as shown in device manger, on a fresh install of W7 pro 32 bit on a Dell XPS 1710 laptop.

What could they be, no usb devices etc attached?

    Thanks.

    - 1394 port

Thanks when clicked on scan hardware changes Windows tried to install but than displayed a message to install drivers from Dell site which it did.

    Now no more yellow icons.

Both are Ricoh card reader drivers. 1. installed first wanted a system restart and than the 2nd.

Really don't know what the 2nd one is for.....displayed chip-set?

    Was only the 1st required Ricoh_R5C833_A00_R240788 ... Ricoh R5C833, v.6.10.01.04, A00 Driver Details | Dell US

    Installed this R243820 after.

    OR both are required?

Any ways to check if the 2nd is installed to uninstall it?

    Thanks.

Hi i see from your screen shot you don't have any more yellow marks next to anything so if your not having any trouble with computer now, their is no reason to install or uninstall a driver.
