Nvidia optimus and windows tablet drivers conflicts
I have a windows 7 laptop with nvidia dedicated graphics (using nvidia optimus) and an external graphics tablet, genius g-pen f350. Recently I noticed, that when running some software that using dedicated graphics, and closing it then, the dedicated graphics is still active (indicated by the tray icon).
After some exploration, I found that the process, which using the graphics belongs to the standart windows tablet tools (or I assume so, because it's path is program files/common files/microsoft shared/ink) and called tabtip.exe.
Closing it results in instant restart of this process, but the graphics are going off. I've checked this file on virustotal, the results are 0/57. Deleting the tablet drivers makes system stop using this process and the problem goes away, but obviously this is not a solution.
The drivers itself seems to conflict with a lot of things, I had some problems with my sound when using these drivers (there was no sound in my system after booting my system with some tablet-related services, and remained disabled even after killing the process, but was solved by disabling the service).
Reminding that the standart windows tablet .exe causing this problem, not the 3rd party drivers, to avoid confusion.
Sorry for my bad english.
