And as far as going 64-bit, is it worth it? I mean, what are the benchmarks for 32-bit vs 64-bit? And what about driver support for 64-bit... is everyone on 64-bit Windows 7 finding it easy to get 64-bit drivers for all their hardware?

If you want to have 4+ gigs of RAM, you will need to go 64 bit. If you have less than that, stick with 32. Performance differences are negligible, and you should have no trouble at all finding 64 bit drivers.
