    Actually John, it does show on the original configuration that:

    Code:
    WIRELESS : BLUETOOTH NOT INCLUDED
    Product Support | Dell Australia

    Expand the components

    My mistake Derek I was after the driver for his region and came up with thatlink after seeing this http://www.dell.com/uk/business/p/latitude-e6220/pd The other way of finding out about the Blu tooth I to go here Drivers & Downloads | Dell UK and auto detect the machine. For a fairly recent machine I would be surprised if there were not a Blu tooth capability.

    There has been an ongoing issue with an old Dell very recently and if that thread is anything to go by the BIOS password if needed is going to be a real pain.
    That is a reasonable approach John, and seeing drivers offered would suggest it had Bluetooth.

    I used your same link in post #7 but refined the search with the service tag offered in post #6,

    Hi,
    I've updated my system specs. It is a Dell Latitude E6220 without Bluetooth (hence USB dongle). Service tag is GD8PGT1.

    Hi,

    I am really struggling with Bluetooth on Win7 x64 Ultimate on a laptop. I have a cheap CSR USB dongle which came with CSR 4.0 Bluetooth drivers.
    <snip>
    Don't know if this will help but if it's a CSR 4.0 dongle, I happened across this CSR Harmony Bluetooth Stack download post is worth a look
