    You are not left with much choice then you could try a Clean Install .... Or you could get a new Adapter ...

    I will give a clean install a chance, if I can't get it working I think I'll just leave it, it's a good thing it wasn't my main machine. Thank you for your help! :)

    Most welcome :) Do you have a Wireless Router if so you could get a USB Wireless Adapter they are very cheap ...
