Dubbel check (VPCEB3G4E) - I installed the the following driver on Support for VPCEB34EN : E Series (VPCE) : VAIO? Laptop & Computer : Sony India
    - Chipset driver
    - Graphics driver (this fixed the resolution)
    - Marvel ethernet driver (this fixed the ethernet, now connected to cable) The wireless drigver was already installed but I cannot connect to a wireless network it doesnt show anything - Also I donŽt see any button on my laptop to switch on or something..

The following drivers are still showing up in device manager:
    - Base System-Device
    - PCI Simple Communications-controller

Note: Windows update also helped to vanish one driver

Base System Device = Card Reader

PCI Simple Communications-controller = Intel Management Engine

    Download the Following Software ...

    Sony Shared Library

    Setting Utility Series

Then check that your Function Keys are working

Yes thats correct, I saw the Intel Management Engine in the Windows update.

    After installing hotkeys working!

Ok, Can I install the MS card driver to get rid of the Base System Device or is it no problem..

And how about the WiFi, really strange. Do you think I need to switch something on..

If you do not want the Driver for the Base System Device then do not Install ...

Now for the Wireless does it show in the Device Manager ?

Is there a switch for the Wireless on your laptop ?

Does the Function Keys enable the Wireless?
