    Legit Remote, Chinese Reciever!

Ok so I pipe my OTA TV thru WMC now, decided it would be better to use a remote instead of a mouse. Ordered a cheap chinese remote and receiver off ebay. Remote came and worked but not full featured. Decided to try and get a legit WMC remote. Crossed my fingers that the remote would work with the receiver. It does! Now trying to do the same thing with another PC, and I can't get the RC6 remote to work. Maybe I need a driver or something, but I know somehow some way this setup will work as I have it working on another unit as we speak.

    All PCs fresh win7ult installs
receiver used comes from this remote
Wireless PC USB Windows Media Center Remote Control Controller Up to 18M F5 | eBay
    Remote used

Someone please help me get this mess sorted out!

    Thanks

Between the two computers I have noticed that on the computer that works there are two entries in device manager under HID that are NOT on the one that doesnt.

    Microsoft eHome infared Transceiver
    ITECIR Infared Receiver

I believe if I could get these installed on the other machine everything would work..

    But how without periphals?

The chinese receiver does install generic driver, maybe I could "update driver" to the two above if I could manually move them from one pc to another?

    ideas?

    Thanks again

You are not getting help because no body has a set up like yours.

I have no idea how to work with your selected Remote Controller.
Their are thousands of different Remove Controllers that work in different ways.

I get that but i figured someone would have a suggestion or at the least an opinion on some steps i havent thiught of to help arrive at a solution.

I mean surely something ne is smarter then me here and can help isolate the issue... But maybe not... Who knows
