    Yes the Model Number would help me understand better ... I do remember you did have problems with Windows 8 and the sleep issue ...

    Okay. I have the SNID and the Serial Number. Not sure where the model number would be.

    Check in System Information .. Maybe the full Model Number is listed there ...

    Acer said they couldn't help me since its out of warranty and said for me to contact Microsoft. So, I contacted Microsoft last night and they did some changes, and it started sleeping again. I don't know how it's going to do today. But, I will keep you posted.

    It seems like there's something in the network causing it to lose sleep. Like, when I turn on my Laptop, is when it won't sleep.

    No. It hasn't happened today, since I turned off a setting in the network adapter.

    Here is the setting I turned off. It's in the screenshot.

    Above is the screenshot. I unchecked "Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power". That fixes the issue.
