What do you mean? You would like to know how I disabled it? Also, I talked to Microsoft and they said to contact Acer because to them it sounded like the motherboard chipset. So, I contacted Acer and Acer said a lot of users are reporting this problem. Acer also said they can walk me through reverting back to Windows 8.1 or reinstalling Windows 10.

No what fixed the issue ... Are you thinking about going back to Windows 8 ? ...

If that is the case and it is the Chipset a Re-Install of 10 will not fix the issue ... There seems to be many cases with sleep problems in Windows 10 which the Fix did not cure ...

I am happy with 10, so I really don't want to go back to 8. Plus, I have been reading online that once you revert back to 8 or 7 from 10, you will run into some issues. I am not sure what fixed the issue. I will keep you posted. When I turned on my Laptop just now, this computer wouldn't sleep. I am thinking there is an issue where something on the network is keeping it awake. Homegroup is disabled. So, I don't know what the problem is.

Strange though I vaguely remember that a lot of people had issues with the Chipset when trying to Install any other OS ..

The BIOS needed to be changed in order to achieve that ...

But as Acer has released Ten Drivers surely that can not be the case !

Okay. Thanks, Maxie. Keep me in your prayers. I went to the doctor today, and they said I had high blood pressure and that my stomach had blockage in it up to my esophagus. I am too young to have high blood pressure.

I read the link. Not sure what it means. The computer seems to run Windows 8.1 and 10 fine. It said in the link they were having issues running Windows 7 and certain hardware. Do you need my model number?
