    Update Drivers message


    Hi I'm new to the site and not a teckie and could use some advice from those who know, I use AVG Tune up and it tells me I have a unknown Driver problem. Most driver sites that scanned for driver issues (and want monies for updating the Drivers) tell me I have 8 Drivers that are out of date Drives. Such as IDT High Definition Audio Codec, Realtek RTL, Qualcomm Atheros, SYNAPTICS PS/2port touchpad, Standard PS/2 Keyboard etc. Do I need to update these and if so do I pay to have them updated ? Can you please advise. Thanks

    Hi real3man , welcome to the forums
    These type of programs need to be taken with a pinch of salt :) only update drivers if you are having problems with your pc which hopefully you are not I would never ,ever pay for drivers always visit the device manfs website for the latest drivers
