Windows 7: No speakers or headphones pluged in/driver problem

No speakers or headphones pluged in/driver problem

So today I installed iobits Advanced System Care and used their driver booster function to update my old drivers. After I rebooted I got this (ugh, never do that again)

Anyway, system restore is out of the game since I don't have any restore points (again, never do that) so I tried uninstalling all sound devices and let windows find drivers for them with no results, then I tried installing drivers from the manufacturers web site, again nothing. Here's what it looks like in device manager.

And this is what control panel - sounds looks like

Also, this is what driver booster suggests installing as a sound driver. As I said I deleted the drivers that this app installed and put some default ones, any ideas here?

Also, for some reason the forum won't display light-shot taken screenshots, so I'm just leaving the links here.
I've checked some of the older threads with the seemingly same issue, but didn't find anything of use there.

Do you still need help? List any Problem devices
  • Make sure devices are connected and powered on
  • Click the Start Orb, type msinfo32 in the search box. Hit Enter
  • Click the + sign next to Components to expand it
  • Click Problem Devices. Anything appear?
  • If yes, click on it, Ctrl-A to select all, Ctrl-C to copy it, Ctrl-V to paste into next post
  • On the other hand, if no devices are listed, tell me so

Also, right click the device->Properties. Click Details tab. Carefully scroll through the pull down menu to see if Class upper filters and/or Class lower filters exist. If so, you can select the info displayed and copy/paste the info shown for them.

When i plug my headphones into the front panel creative console changes from 5.1 to headphones but it doesn't mute my speakers and auto mute speakers option is checked. Is this because speakers are through optical to a logitech z5500? Also is optical out the best way to send sound to the z5500's?
