You're very welcome! :)
That's great news, glad you got it sorted.
Hi again DerekImo
I was able to get online and install those three links you gave me.
I would love to accept your offer of pointing out any other drivers I need, if you don't mind?
I started to use the system detect but two of their recommended downloads wouldn't install. One said that there was already a newer file and the second one said it couldn't find the hardware!
I can't thank you enough for helping.
No problem Donna,
Can you run this again,
System Information File - Create in Windows
So I can see what was fixed by the ones you did install.
Here it is. Thank you so much!
Did you install those first two drivers I posted?
It doesn't look like they are installed.
Here's a couple for you,
Ethernet controller,
Realtek RTL8111E Gigabit Ethernet Controller Driver Driver Details | Dell US
USB drivers,
Renesas USB3.0 Host Controller Driver Driver Details | Dell US
Okay, I checked and made sure the first two links were installed.
And have now installed the next two.
OK, can you run that tool again so I can see what's left.
It may be necessary to install those again if they keep showing up. Did you restart after installing them?
This should be your audio driver,
Realtek ALC272/ALC269 HD/ALC269Q-GR Audio Driver Driver Details | Dell US
I see a card reader too, but it's not being recognized yet, another reason that the chipset driver needs to be installed.
Okay, let me just do the audio driver and I'll give you another system info report
