How to back up drivers? Directory on Windows 7 Pro?

After discussing the recent issues I've been having with this accidental install of a fake mod of Windows, I have decided to do a clean install with a genuine copy. I wish to back up the drivers for my system. Is there a simple way of doing that? Originally, I used Lenovo's support software called ThinkVantage System Update do install bulk of the drivers for my system. It is because of that that I don't know where these driver files are.

    Would appreciate some help. :)

    Thanks

How to backup your drivers (and reinstall them later when needed!)

But DON'T use it to do a full driver re-install OR use it to re-install any Windows drivers from Microsoft. Leave the Microsoft Windows drivers to Windows Updates. ONLY, if needed, you can use it to re-install 3rd party drivers that don't come as part of the Windows.

If I can't take a shortcut like that, am I not better of by following this method:

    - backup the wifi driver.
    - install the wifi driver on new windows
    - Use the ThinkVantage System Update software which updates everything from display drivers to Bios to download and update/install all the drivers.
    - THEN run windows update.

    Hi,
You can download the drivers from the manufactures website
Save them to your Downloads folder transfer them to a flash drive.

Most will come in .zip folders
You can right click the zip folder once downloaded to the downloads folder and extract all to the flash drive as well.
