    how do you search a history of downloading drivers?

    my 7 got update notice of BIOS from toshiba,
    and this updating failed.

    i opened event viewer,
    where can i see this?

    Go to the Toshiba website, your model the bios update will be there.
    There will also be a section called bios utilities i suspect you will need to download something from here first.

Is there a way to have start->run history kept while not keeping a history of the recently launched programs from the menu? I know under the properties you have "Store and display recently opened programs in the Start menu", but this is what controls both. I'm figuring theres probably some...
