    Missing drivers, clean installation

    Hi everybody,
I was given a Notebook computer which was unusable due to malware.
I did a clean OS install but could not connect to the internet.
Accessing Device Manager I found no installed drivers for Ethernet Controller, Network Controller and PCI Device.
I would appreciate advice as to the correct Drivers to install.
    Many thanks.

Head over to the Manufacturers >> Model no >> they will all be there. D/l to a usb and from device manager point them to it.
On another note IF you only have 2GB upgrade it, it will be laggy or downgrade to the 32bit version.

    Hi Roy,
Thanks for your advice. Missing drivers now installed.
H.P's website is not the most user friendly I have encountered.
    I will upgrade the RAM.
    Thanks again.
