Hello. I build this computer a year ago and upgraded slightly each time I had the chance. I upgraded to WINDOWS 10 and worked find for a while until my os corrupted and I then installed WINDOWS 7. I lost all my drivers but luckely i had the cds. But as I went to get my wifi card cd I couldnt find it. I tried looing everywhere but I couldnt find it. So i got my brothers laptop and googled my drivers but couldnt find them. Please help.

    *Extra info*
On device manager i get the following values for the hardware ids
    PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_5392&SUBSYS_53921814&REV_00
    PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_5392&SUBSYS_53921814
    PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_5392&CC_028000
    PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_5392&CC_0280

On multiple programs the device decription says "802.11n Wiresless LAN card"
    Manufacture: Ralink Technology,Corp"
Please help asap. Can give more info if needed

There are generic drivers allready on your comp.
You just need to know what your actual version.

On your problem device >> update >> browse >> let me pick >> UNCHECK show me compatible devices >>
Scroll down to Railtek click on it, (there are 2) in the right hand box look for the 802.11 wireless card select

    Hi Strob,
    Use system restore to revert.
If you can find the ACTUALL make/model of the Ethernet controller and the wireless card you can download the drivers from the manufacturers site to a USB and update the drivers from that.

    Ok
Try this intel link (Ralink 5392 pci card)
It might also give you your ethernet controller one as well.

You can download from here, you have to give them a name and email,

    PCI/ mPCI / CB(RT2860/ RT2760/RT2790/ RT309X/ RT35X2/ RT539X/ RT3290/ MT7630) - MediaTek

Mediatek bought Ralink so that's why that site is Mediatek.
