    Notebook touchpad was uninstalled

My cursor was drifting on my Dell Latitude. Was told by technician it had a virus, so he took it and said he would reinstall Windows. When i got it back he had uninstalled the touchpad and installed a mouse. I installed Alps pointing device driver to no avail. What can i try next. Thanks for your time

You will have to download the chipset driver from dell's website. You will need the model number or service tag. Without knowing the model number all I can do is point you to the website. Support | Dell US

OH if he charged you for the OS, tell him he's used a stolen key to TRY and activate it.
    Demand a refund.
