    Hewlett-Packard 2000 drivers for Windows 7 x64

My HP-2000 was built to run Windows 8. It runs Windows 7 just fine, but I can't get drivers working for the following objects:

    WiFi
    Ethernet
    Display
    Trackpad
    Keyboard

Any help would be helpful, as I use this machine to watch videos, edit documents, and surf the web.

If you can do option one of this tutorial on that machine,

System Information File - Create in Windows

And post the file it creates so we have the hardware ID's, I'm sure we can find something for you.

I needed to create a .doc file to upload the file url (it was too big to attach)
I created this file on Win10 before installing 7.

OK, first, posting a .doc file just to post a link to m e d i a f i r e was a convoluted approach, you could have zipped it and posted it here,

    TechKitten= Win10_info.zip

That being said, looking at your list in the first post,

    Ethernet Realtek

    Wifi https://www.atheros-drivers.com/down...-Windows7.html

Display I would just let windows update find a driver since this is a laptop.

Keyboard should get a working driver if you are connected to the internet during install, might even be one in the installer.

Touchpad should get one too but have you tried the synaptics drivers from HP?

Once you have internet I think you'll get most of your drivers, try using the Ethernet during install it will usually help you get drivers easier.

Sorry about the Mediafire URL. I can't zip my files because I am using a different mac than the Win7 one.
Also, the Synaptics driver does not work.

    Not a big deal really.

OK, if that driver didn't work, let's see if this one does,

Drivers & Software - HP Support Center.

The difference I noticed is there is a W7 folder in this one,
