USB 3.0 drivers for Lenovo g41-35

    Hi guys,

I have a Lenovo g41-35 computer that came with win10, it has 3 ports, 2 with usb 3.0 and 1 with 2.0, I downgraded the OS to win7 and now I can't use the 2 usb 3.0 ports. I tried going into the BIOS to search if I could make the usb 3.0 ports work as 2.0 but I couldn't find any options like that .

Do you happen to know where I could find those drivers for my laptop?

Hello and welcome yumerifter now I pulled up this Laptops-and-netbooks :: Lenovo-G-Series-laptops :: g41-35 - Lenovo Support (US)
Strangely enough it states it comes with 7 64bit now unless thye have changed the goalposts or maybe the got it screwed up to stop anyone loading 7 drivers I don't know.

What I sometimes use is this https://www.slimwareutilities.com/slimdrivers.php but before you download it make sure you download this https://unchecky.com/ and run it because it stops all those annoying addons like Askbar and Google bar etc and leave installed.
Now make sure you only install Slim Drivers it will ask you to use other stuff so take it slowly. When done uninstall it because although it is a handy software it can be a terrible nagger.
Run it and it will let you know what drivers you may need to install and ones that are to be updated.
Do that with this Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems it is free and worth keeping because I find it more thorough than the Windows feature as it goes through the registry as some uninstallers leave bit and pieces in there and unless you are confident in changing reg settings.

Now if none of this works I would be onto Lenovo support or where you bought it from very quickly.

Thank you for your reply, I tried doing that but no luck, I still appreciate your help and time very much. I will take it to a help center since I've tried everything now, so hopefully that works.

    Have a nice day!
