    Hello and welcome:

We could probably provide better help if we had a wee bit more information...

    A few basic questions:

    1. Is this the Win7 Home Premium, 64-bit laptop listed in your forum profile?
    2. What is the full MODEL NUMBER of the HP printer?
    3. How are you trying to connect the computer to the printer -- local (USB), network (wired/Ethernet) or network (wifi)?
    4. Have you had a look at this article >>HERE<< about "fatal errors" (scroll down to see the part about 2753 codes)? (This is a US URL. I hope you are able to see the information from your locale.)

Thank you for the information, if you can please provide it,

    MM

    Hi:

Thank you for the helpful update.
I found by routine Google search many, rather old links about that specific error message, but I do not know how to resolve it.

    Product Info

Until someone comes along who knows more, I suggest the following:

    1. Complete, clean reinstall of the drivers/software, either the full package or the "basic" drivers
      1. Power off the printer and disconnect the USB cable from the printer
      2. Fully uninstall everything HP from your computer, including a manual removal of any file/folder leftovers
      3. Reboot
      4. Go to the HP drivers/downloads page to download and save a fresh copy -- for your model and for Win7, it looks like these are the links (double-check these), one or the other:
        1. Full package
        2. Basic drivers

      5. Run the setup wizard and carefully follow the instructions
        1. It is very important NOT to connect the USB cable until prompted to do so

    2. If this is an older computer, you might want to try some basic system maintenance, such as:

    3. One other thought: if it is under warranty, you might contact HP support.

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,
    MM
