    Driver issues Win7 x64

    Hello
Im having a couple of driver issues Im not sure if its hardware related eg MB or something wrong im doing. My 3,5 multi card reader with usb used to work fine with win XP 32 bit, trying the same reader on Win 7 results with a yellow exclamation marks. I can delete these but on reboot its back, they relate to WPD FileSystem Volume Driver, this I thought would have been installed when I reloaded windows not so long ago.

I am also having issues with USB driver the ids are below. I have tried USB driver from Asus website and made no deference. Not sure if there is anything I can try before a full reformat and fresh install. Is there any software that can completely remove old and obsolete drivers? I know there is UUD for graphics cards and thats all i know to date.

    Compatable IDs are
    PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3432&SUBSYS_34321106&REV_03
    PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3432&SUBSYS_34321106
    PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3432&CC_0C0330
PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3432&CC_0C03but havent seen anything that removes drivers

I have tried searching only to find many sites claiming to be able to offer this driver and fix it for a price!

    Thanks

Check and see if you have all the drivers and the chip set installed using your motherboard DVD/CD.

    part 2
    Card reader

    now goto
Control panel >> Administration tools >> Computer management >> disk management >>

    Plug in your card reader

    A new section should appear,
Check to make sure it has a drive letter,
if not assign one to it.

    Thanks for trying Roy,

I have downloaded and installed and it seems to have fixed the original first post problem, however now there is a problem with VIA USB 3.0 Root Hub (apparently the best driver is already installed, with a yellow exclamation mark) I tried the USB 3 driver from Asus and all it wants to do is repair, I removed and rebooted ran the driver again and same issue, repair makes no difference. Im seriously thinking about cutting my losses with this MB and try for something better.

    The hardware IDs are
    USB\VIA_ROOT_HUB&VID1106&PID3432&REV0003
    USB\VIA_ROOT_HUB&VID1106&PID3432
    USB\VIA_ROOT_HUB
