No Network Controller Found on clean install of Win 7

So my HP Pavilion dv6t-6c00 crapped out and the hard drive failed. I got a new hard drive and installed, only to discover my backup of my OS was flawed and couldn't be installed. I got a cheap copy online of a basic Windows 7 and used my own software key to activate, bur upon installing found problems from the get-go. There were absolutely no drivers for practically anything and 6 hours later, I've manually and via windows update managed to get most of the drivers current.

There are a few however in the device manager still showing up with the despised yellow exclamation mark.

* Network Controller- PCI bus 13, device 0, function 0. Not found with error code 28.
Here are the specs from the hardware info:
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8176&SUBSYS_1629103C&REV_01
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8176&SUBSYS_1629103C
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8176&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8176&CC_0280

* Fresco Logic USB Root Hub- same error code 28
FLUSB\ROOT_HUB_FL30_1656103C&VID_1B73&PID_F000
FLUSB\ROOT_HUB_FL30_1656103C

* Standard VGA Graphics Adapter, error code 10
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6760&SUBSYS_185D103C&REV_00
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6760&SUBSYS_185D103C
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6760&CC_030000
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6760&CC_0300

So I can only connect to the internet via manual cord hookup to my modem. If anyone has a suggestion, I'd really appreciate it. I'm a learn as I go person and am not fully fluent in tech talk, but I'm a fast learner so bear with my ignorance in some cases. Thanks!

Googling PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8176&SUBSYS_1629103C reveals that your wi-fi adapter is a Realtek RTL8188CE 802.11b/g/n
Googling Realtek RTL8188CE 802.11b/g/n leads to this download (for 64-bit OS)
Drivers & Software - HP Support Center.

Similarly, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6760&SUBSYS_185D103C is a Radeon HD 7470M
which can be found here: http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds029745

You get the idea, the device ID is the key.

It's best to get the driver from the manufacturer of the computer if possible, it may be customized. If not, a generic driver or one from another computer mfgr. will suffice. Avoid the "driver update" sites, they'll insist you use their software which will most likely screw something up.

Alternatively, Snappy Driver (Snappy Driver Installer - Install and Update Drivers for Free) is a good tool for acquiring drivers. It does occasionally provide a bad driver, so I don't let it update existing drivers. It can be a quick way to get multiple missing drivers.

Did you use the manufacturer's drivers?

Thanks so much MrWhoopie! My network connection is up and running. The AMD processor is still giving me issues, but at least I can wirelessly connect and keep fiddling with it.

Thanks so much once again, you've made my day!

(and yes, my drivers were all through HP's site for my specific computer model)
