Critical process died - creation tool

I'm personally not an advanced "tech" person, but my father is.

I've been reviewing issues pertaining to this particular issue, and after tons and tons of research, haven't come up with anything. At most, "get a disc and re download partitions.

Then I called my father, and his answer:

"There's a process you can take, which involves a creation tool from Windows websight. You can point this file directly to a USB (8 gig min) and essentially load it into the set up process ISO. (Only an initial boot, after entire process return to normal boot procedures)

You will need to delete old custom partitions, and it will fill them with the new software processes during wipe. You'll be asked to choose partition to boot OS, and you'll want to select the largest partition. It will do it's own thing from there.

NOTE:

make sure to be plugged into Ethernet during process, it will load new updates during download.

Also, this is the most ridiged explanation you'll ever get, so to understand it better, Windows has a walkthrough.

Good luck on your blue screen!
