I have flashed the BIOS twice in the past. The first one went fine, and based upon that I thought I was invincible and later tried to do an update. Well, the second one I did bricked the machine and I was SOL. If you do decide to proceed just take your time and make sure you follow the specific board procedure. Read it, re-read it, and read it again to make sure you have the process down pat. Some folks have no problem with a BIOS flash and do them regularly. I am a sissy and now avoid it if at all possible (see my experience with #2, above.) Good Luck, Brother.

Well Duane I am on the next clone - have lost count now MSE on and downloading .NET Framework 4...... to be honest I ma not sure if overwriting the BIOS with the same version is going to do much good but I will try if nothing else goes right.

At least I would not have this far with a post before without losing it as well as my mind of course.
So I ma going to update as little as possible unless the system crashes again.
