    Dell Official Audio Drivers

I wondered if these drivers can be installed without any junk from Dell like the AMD Graphics Drivers can using 7zip? I did get into the installer just a little, and there was an option to "Extract Here", so I'm guessing this is what I want, and then Install from Device Manager as usual?

I wonder if this is a good idea, I don't know anything about Audio, and if any of the included software is needed?

Also, the only reason I'm doing this is because my speakers pop when the system starts, just once but it don't seem good. They are new speakers and don't pop on any other pc's I tried them on.

You likely can't get away from Dell bloatware, if it is included in the Dell driver package. Depending on your sound card, you'll likely get the driver and one or two control programs for setting sound parameters and such. Those I would not delete because they are useful utilities.

You'll obviously know if the driver package is adding a bunch of useless utilities, and those can be deleted safely through Programs and Features.

I should note that my ASUS and ACER laptop's driver packages came only with the driver and associated utilities. No bloatware. Same for my friend's HP machine. Perhaps Dell follows the same philosophy regarding the driver packages. Here's hoping. :)
