    Clean install / no drivers

    Hello

Normally i do not register on forums and ask for help but this problem is waaaaay to much for me...
    Well:

    1) I had windows 10
    2) I formatted my whole HDD
    3) Installed fresh / clean copy of win 7 Home Premium

Everything went well but there are no drivers on my Laptop now. I tried two different CDs and still nothing.

    - no USB drivers
    - No ethernet drivers
    - nothing

I downloaded the right drivers from the HP support page, burnt them on a CD, installed on my laptop (the ons with fresh win7) and still nothing ... nothing works ...

I have read a lot about it but no one had the correct answer for me

    Please, help me!

You can check which drivers to install by checking the vendor and device numbers for each of your devices.

First, get your network adapter working, so that you can then download the drivers for everything else from that same computer. I'll explain how to get the drivers for your network adapter.

Go to Device Manager. Right click on the icon for your network adapter, and choose Properties. I believe you will see a Details tab. Look around in there for something like this:

    PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_2B3B103C&REV_10

In this example, the Vendor number (VEN) is 10EC, and the Device number (DEV) is 8168.

Now go to PCI Vendor and Device Lists, and do a device search on your Device number. It will return a screen with some listings of devices. Look for any which match both your vendor number and your device number. These listings will point you to the driver for your network adaptor.

Repeat this for all other needed drivers.
