MSI GT710 error: Display driver stopped working and has recove

Hi,

I bought the MSI GT 710 1GB and after install the OS frequently shows
error: "Display driver stopped working and has recovered"

I try many suggestions: registry fix, change system PCI-E power setting, change power setting in Nvidia control panel even I uninstall driver with DDU then install last driver from Nvidia but 1-3 times per day the problem appear.

My PC is Dell Optyplex 745 but upgrated with 8GB RAM, original PSU-275W
OS - Windwos 7 Ultimate 64 bit. The PC work fine I have not had any problem before GT710.

Thanks.

Hi,
First off the latest driver is often not the best driver to have installed :)
Hell I'm on 381.65 still
Follow and install only the display drive plus what is shown on this tutorial
NVIDIA Drivers - Avoid Problems - Windows 7 Help Forums

The gpu you say does recommend a 300w power supply but you're pretty close make sure you keep all settings at default.

300w is still overkill even tho NVIDIA recommends it.

I did it - a tutorial. Now I'll waiting to see, is the problem will disappear.

I know what NVidia recommend for PSU. I think about that, but it's an option.
However this tutorial is the last thing which I do, then new PSU. But it'll be stay out of the box.

After a few days I'll share the result.

Thanks.
