Password protected USB stick - TDK: FlashLock_v2.30 fails

Concerns my password protected USB 8GB memory stick from TDK. Inserting it in my laptop, and clicking on the FlashLock_v2.30.exe (which is stored on the stick), a pop-up window should appear for unlocking and password insertion. This used to work fine for years, but now no popping up anymore, hence I cannot access my data. I use bitdefender antivirus. Thanks for your help.
