Windows 7: GeForce FX Driver Issue

Thank you! I'll give it a shot for trying those BIOS AGP settings, but I have a question:

Wouldn't enabling those last three options force graphic card? I mean if it becomes more powerful that will be due to the more work of graphic card, right? And wouldn't this cause system to get "tired"?

As for the sound card, I've already installed a Windows 7 driver from producter's page. Here are my HW IDs of sound card:

PCI\VEN_13F6&DEV_0111&SUBSYS_011113F6&REV_10
PCI\VEN_13F6&DEV_0111&SUBSYS_011113F6
PCI\VEN_13F6&DEV_0111&CC_040100
PCI\VEN_13F6&DEV_0111&CC_0401

That sound lag seems to be a result of Aero. You know Aero consumes more system resources... There weren't anything like this with previous non-Aero drivers...

Just try out what I said without getting too technical about things. If it doesn't work well, revert to previous bios settings.

Here is the correct audio driver and how to install for you.

This is how I see it.

You have a sound issue, correct? The user I helped to install the driver does not and reported it worked well, correct?

The decision is of course yours for what you want to do.

Yeah, thanks though for your caring. It is just an outdated version. That's why I had second thoughts. Usually newer is better, right?

Thanks again.

Almost without exception newer is always better. This may be an example of otherwise though. You could always rollback to the one you have now with the click of a button in device manager, if needed.
