Boot loop, I have no idea what to do.

First, I'm really- really sorry if I'm breaking rules on this site. I have no idea what to do and I'm really stressed out. I decided to post here hoping someone smarter than me would be able to help.

Today I decided to restart my computer because I find my sims game plays better when I do. As it went to start back up, it took me to a black screen saying "Windows failed to start, a recent hardware or software change may be the cause". My keyboard was unresponsive, therefore all I could do was wait for the time to count down and launch startup repair. When it does, it tries to load startup repair; then brings be directly back to the previous screen.
I tried to contact Windows customer support where they told me without the product key I could do nothing, then asked me to purchase Windows 10 for $119. Well... I don't have that kind of money.
I've tried unplugging everything from my computer, letting it cool down, ect... nothing is working. I'm about to cry because I don't have enough money for a new computer, and all my artwork and important things are on this one. I've researched enough to know maybe, I can put "bootable media" on a flash drive and try that; though if you couldn't tell I'm 100% inept here and I'm scared to mess up more than I've already done.

I'm sorry if this is annoying, I just have no idea what to do or where to go for help right now. I just want my computer to start back up
