I don't see a 3646 model at their website. The model should be written on the laptop. Maybe even under it or under the battery.

Okay then. Chose your OS and bit type either 32 or 64. It should be the Dell Wireless 1705 WiFi + Bluetooth Driver.

Support for Inspiron 3646 | Drivers & downloads | Dell US

If Bluetooth doesn't work for some reason you can actually buy a small USB Bluetooth dongle. Looks like this: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...s=bluetoth+usb

    I have an IOGear type.

    Here it is: https://www.amazon.com/IOGEAR-Blueto...=bluetooth+usb

Windows 7 x64 Home Premium, Dell Inspiron 3646 Bluetooth Drivers Probl

    Help, Help, Help!

I have been wrestling with this “Bluetooth Peripheral Device” driver problem for over a week now -- I have exhausted everything I know to do to solve this driver problem.

Every time I open my computer, I get a different set of Bluetooth driver problems. Sometimes I get between 3 and 6 Bluetooth Peripheral Device drivers listed under “Other Devices” while other times I get Bluetooth Wireless Transceivers listed under Bluetooth Radio as driver problems.

I have tried everything I know to do: (1) Deleted each device, restarted the computer, downloaded and attempted to install each driver with “driver not found/missing/corrupted or failed to install” with error codes that I tried to apply through researched results, but still unable to inext time I opened the computer, guess what, I had a new set of Bluetooth problems. (3) I even went to Mfrs to get the right drivers, i.e., if I found the correct driver by version and date that I could download I ended up with a totally different driver or error during install which my computer didn’t like or was incompatible with my Wins 7/Dell computer.

Question 1: What Bluetooth drivers do I exactly need to support Windows 7 x64 Home Premium/Dell Inspiron 3646 Desktop computer. A list of the required Bluetooth drivers and their Mfrs would be great!

Question 2: Do I have a Bluetooth problem or is it my computer? This driver problem just showed up after I downloaded/installed an Optimizer program which I immediately deleted with “REVO UNINSTALLER” software. I have included several screen shots for review.
    Thanks in Advice,
    FLJerry
