    Acer aspire 5750, Window 7 Home basic 64bit.. Laptop says to format every pen drive I insert..even when I insert new pendrive it says to format..any software or tools I could run to solve this issue.?
    Additional: I'm gonna buy a new WD hard disk and I don't want to ruin it.. Please give me suggestions on what should I do when I receive the Hard drive??..I mean what all tests I should run on this new hard drive to reach it's maximum performance and check issue related it's hardware..

    Does the same pendrive/s behave normally and accessible on any other working PC?

    Corrupted system files most often can cause this problem. Run the option 2 in this tutorial SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker - Windows 7 Help Forums and check whether it could find and repair the corrupted files.

    Do you eject pen drives or just yank 'em out?

    Hi All,
    Greets,
    @KiranM : Sir,

    1.If you are looking for the tools to check drives, consider these 3 links :
    4 Tools to Test and Detect Fake or Counterfeit USB Flash Drives • Raymond.CC
    6 Tools to Test Read and Write Speed of USB Flash Drives • Raymond.CC - Page 2
    3 Tools to Check and Test USB Flash Drive • Raymond.CC
    ( H2testw & CrystalDiskMark do it sufficiently well for Usb Flash drives, External & Internal hard disks)

    2.What's the status ? Some questions, from previous posters, are still unanswered !

    Thanks & Regards. ...
