How do you install Windows 7 on a recent Kaby Lake laptop?

Ok, so personally I run Windows 8.1 on this new ASUS GL553VE laptop (I downgraded it from Windoze 10, and it wasn't easy) that I'm typing on. Well, it's not that I hate Windows 8.1 or am using it as a compromise not to use Windows 7, to be honest I love Windows 8.1, but I just wonder if Windows 7 works (or even installs at all) on this machine. Nothing serious, really. Just out of curiosity.

This laptop has a Kaby Lake HM175 chipset, UEFI firmware and a UEFI-CSM toggle switch, but no Legacy Boot options anywhere. It also has 3 USB 3.0 ports on the left, 1 USB 2.0 port on the right and it still has a CD/DVD drive unlike most laptops out there.

To install it, I figured I should turn on UEFI-CSM, but that doesn't seem to do anything. When I insert a Windows 7 DVD to the DVD drive, all I see is a blinking underscore that will finish loading when pigs fly. Then I tried to install through USB using the USB 2.0 port, and the USB boots just fine, however it gets stuck on "Windows is loading files..." and will never seem to finish loading.

By any chance, could SATA drivers be the problem?

Any suggestions? I could help Windows 7 users if I found a solution. Any input would be appreciated.
