Upgraded to Win 10, scanner problem

    Hi Guys.

I have an expensive Canon 4200f scanner that won't work following installation of Windows 10 pro.
It worked fine on Win 7 ultimate, using Vuescan pro.
I had to use a driver from the Canon website first, and then Vuescan did the rest.
I've tried using that Canon driver in compatibility mode, but no good.
Vuescan says it can't see the usb scanner, without the driver, even though Vuescan says my scanner is supported.
    Can you help, please?

We have a sister Windows 10 forum. Windows 10 Help Forums Might be better to post there since this is a Win 10 issue.

Is this your scanner? If so, the Win 10 drivers are available to download here: CanoScan 4200F

That was the page I read. If you also read it, you will see that no drivers are offered there.

Canon will not issue drivers for this model to support the Windows 10 operating system. The Windows 7 drivers should function in the Windows 10 environment with some limitations which are currently unknown to Canon.
