    Hi bigmck,

    2) I have found on your motherboard support page that the latest BIOS driver update addresses the issue Enhance compatibility with some PCIE device.
But I would always backup BIOS before updating it. Actually, it is always good to backup BIOS before doing anything there. Now, its very easy to backup & update BIOS & that too from within Windows! Advanced utilities are provided by the manufacturer itself.
I definately think that this is worth a look at!

    I hope this helps!

After everything that has been done to try and resolve this, I think this is also worth a go.

The Bios is similar to the engine in a car. Without it, it does not run. = When I was in high school, a friend bought a car for $50, of course it did not run. We thought we would pull the engine and see what the problem was. We had pistons laying on the ground and parts every where. At the end of the day, we could not get it back together and put the parts in the back seat. = I don't want to put my Bios in the "back seat". I will just use USB 2.0 Thanks,

Hi bigmck, at the end of the day, you have to do what is best for you and what you feel comfortable with.
