    Thanks for the link. == I have never seen so many files. For my Asmedia Controller it seemed to be never ending clicks to find a file. Any assistance is appreciated.

    Is this a PCIe device? If so, the hardware ID should help you under Hardware Devices in the control panel.

    Or in fact the manufacturer should have the driver.

    If you have drivers that aren't working, uninstall them using device manager.

    The rt click and run as admin on Win7USB3+.exe

    Hi All,
    Greets,
    @bigmck: Sir,
    1. You are running Win 7 x32 on a pc that has a 4GB ram!
    2. We have to go to Official Product Support Site, enter our OS version ( win7 x32 ) & look for the USB drivers.
    Support Page :
    P8Z68-V LX Driver & Tools | Motherboards | ASUS Global
    There is another thing to mention that there are two versions listed under USB heading. One is just the driver & the other is USB driver + utilties/extra features. What i would do is that i would go with the driver only package because i consider the other things as bloatwares & install only if needed! So, the driver only package is here :

    Let us know.

    Thanks & Regards. ...

    Bigmck,

    You can upgrade your machine by getting a second hand Intel 3rd generation cpu. Something like an i5 3570 ( or the i5 3570s for power saving). Any i5 3rd gen would be a big improvement. They are quite cheap now, probably get something for $50 or less.

    There is a bios upgrade here P8Z68-V LX CPU Support | Motherboards | ASUS Global

    Hi All,
    Greets,
    @SIW2 : Sir,
    Thanks, You have opened a new era of possibilities for me! I went to the site but did not think/explored that section. Many thanks again.
    @bigmck : Sir,
    If the problem persists after the driver installation. You should consider installing chipset drivers & then the USB drivers. Also you can think about updating Bios drivers.

    Let us know.

    Thanks & Regards. ...
