Adding USB 3 drivers to W7 repair disk
How can I add the usb3 drivers to a Windows 7 repair disk?
I have
Windows 7 install.ISO
& Repair disk.ISO
& external USB hard drive containing a System Image (backup was done using USB 3 drive)
& Intel USB3 driver.exe
& PowerISO utiity program
Initially my question is
when booting with Repair Disk
if I want to use a USB3 drive to read my System Image
I am asked for a Driver Disk
What is expected in the driver disk?
The USB driver download as an .exe
which I have unzipped
What do I copy onto (e.g) a Driver DVD
so that it will be acceptable to the Load Driver request
Then I will move on to ask if there is a method of "adding" the USB3 drivers
to the W7 Repair Disk
NB I have PowerISO which includes a DISM option (whatever that is)
I can get by using my PCs USB2 drives
but the USB3 drives will presumably perform much faster
There are several Youtube vids but while appreciating the effort
I find them unclear
A written procedure would be better
