    Hi,
    Sir,
    1. Are you sure there was no driver within the ''Win 7 Image Updater''. I did not use it on my own & presently can't download it due to my own internet problems but i would like to analize it.
    2. Before saying anything else, I am just looking for the right driver. Give me at least 2-3 days.
    3. Make sure the HDMI cable is a good one!
    4. The 'Intel HD Graphics 630' card came with the pc ?

    Let me know.

    Thanks & Regards. ...

No, I'm not sure, but I found all the other drivers by letting windows search in that driver directory. Problem is, device manager is not reporting any issues for the display driver as it is working, just not working well. This was the problem with the quiet audio I had earlier but luckily that generic realtek package fixed it.
There might be a similar one for display as well.

How do I know if the HDMI cable is good or not? Aren't they all the same?

Intel HD Graphics is not a card, it's an integrated chip on the motherboard.

    Hi,
    Sir,
    1. Good inputs.
    2. The drivers included in the Image Updater, lists 'Intel GPU' & 'Intel Chipset' drivers as well. I would look into it once I am able to make downloads!
    3. How the 'Display Adapters' section in the 'Device Manager' appears ? Does it list the adapter as 'Intel HD Graphics 630' ?
    4. It seems you are having two Graphic Adapters/Options. One more which is from 'NVIDIA', isn't it ?
    5. All HDMI cables are not good. Get the one from a good/reputed shop/manufacturer & surely not online. You can verify it on another pc , already working all good with HDMI functionality.
    6. I am all sure we will get a good driver. Not to worry. Even the one i shared, may be good enough but i am making it all sure.

    Let me know.

    Thanks & Regards. ...

    @Vineet Garg,

I tried to install that modded driver you posted earlier but the device manager insists the driver is already fine and up-to-date.

    3. No, it doesn't. It just says "standard VGA graphics adapter".

The NVIDIA drivers are for my now-dead NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT card. I will be getting a new video card soon so it isn't exactly urgent for the onboard chip to work perfectly but I'm still curious if I can get this to work. After all, benchmarks show that the Intel HD 630 is pretty good. If I don't have to use an external video card, that means I can use the PCI-e slot for something else like a NVMe SSD. It's a win-win situation.

I got the HDMI cable at a hardware store, not online. Are there specific specs to follow like ethernet speed or something?

Thanks for the energetic eagerness to assist me, it's much appreciated.

    I found one finally.

Download Intel (R) HD Graphics 630 drivers for Windows 7 x86

Unfortunately, it's bundled with a whole lot of other crap AND with adware.

    OPSWAT MetaDefender Cloud | Results

It didn't fix the color banding problem with the HDMI cable either but the VGA one works fine for now.

    Hi,
    Sir,
I think you won't need to buy & use an external video card. Intel HD Graphics 630 is pretty good. There are a few things to talk about but first we will concentrate on the driver.
It seems the required driver is already there in the tool. Just open Windows 7 Image Updater & navigate to ''Windows_7_Image_Updater\Windows7\Import\Windows\Setup\Scripts\Intel_GPU\Graphics'' & look for a driver file named igdlh.inf. I am not talking about igdlh64.inf that is for x64 version.
Are there multiple files with the same name ? Share the file/files with me.

(Luckily, 'Win 7 Image Updater' Author Sir is kind enough to help in this matter!)

    EDIT:
I will never suggest you that solution. Why did you install that at all ?
Besides, You should have extracted the executable file & just looked for/used the driver file named igdlh.inf. That way you could have avoided the unneeded & problematic part.
Whenever one look for a 3rd party driver, its the safest to just use the _.inf driver file instead of the full setup installer.
The drivers from 'Win 7 Image Updater' are quite authentic & friendly with the machines & OS.
Actually, It's time for you to learn how to make the forced driver installation from/with _.inf driver files & let your machine know who is the master!

Before making a force installation, always make sure that is the right driver file!

    Thanks & Regards. ...

    [Window Title]
    Install Error

    [Main Instruction]
The INF file you selected does not support this method of installation

    [Close]

The Windows 7 image with the drivers does not have a igdlh.info, only the x64 one. This exe I extracted does have igdlh.inf but I get the error above. How do I install it?

    Hi BlueBonnett,
    Sir,
Please share with me the file igdlh64.inf from 'Win 7 Image Updater'.

I'll give you both. One from the Win7 image updater, the other from the driverpack EXE.
Change extension from doc to inf.
