    Earlier on, he said "I bought an asus VivoBook 15 X540UA-GO775 laptop." Based on that, I assumed he would use the x540UA.

    Sir,
    'x540UA' & 'x540UAR' refer to motherboard & I think it is better to be sure of, to avoid any problems!
