The Truth!

Hi Cris,
Great Stuff!
I was totally wrong. Its the driver problem. Every proper driver gives basic functionality for a device without any problem. All the other driver components are optional & just give extra control over the things. Somebody may like those but many think they are just a burden! The choice also depends upon the user interests & practices.

The only possibility is that a proper win7 driver will need some extra stuff that is not included in a win 8 or win 10 only driver. In every case a proper Win 7 driver will work straight away. So, we have to find a proper win7 driver.

(a) I also have a bluetooth driver from Intel to test but first give me the link to the driver you installed just now.

(b) I could not understand what happened when you tried SCM ?

(c) I have understood the fsquirt trial.

(d) I also see that you have installed Killer Performance Driver Suite in win7. Which one you used ? Is it listed in Device Manager ? If yes, How it looks in the Device Manager ? Does Device Manager entry says that the device is working correctly ? What is the hardware ID it shows there ?

(e) The listing you see in Win 10 Device Manager may be lesser in win7 but there should be at least some entries in the win 7 Device Manager. Now you installed the intel bluetooth driver successfully. Is it listed in Device Manager ? If yes, How it looks in the Device Manager ? Does Device Manager entry says that the device is working correctly ? What is the hardware ID it shows there ?

As i have already said above, Killer Control Center may be useless or useful for you but it is not required for the basic functionality. That work is always done well by a proper win7 driver.

I ask you to not uninstall the Killer & Intel Bluetooth drivers as of now. There is a possibility that one more driver is not installed which may be crucial. I will be able to tell about it tomorrow.

The previous queries are needed to be answered before saying anything further!

Thanks & Regards. ...

Driver Integration to ISOs with NTLite! ( Help from the Kind Senior!)

Integrating Drivers!

a) NTLite uses DISM in the back ground. So, the driver integration/addition success percentage is same between NTLite & other DISM Utilities. ( I would put it 80% )

b) It is easier with NTLite. One has to just extract the driver properly. As soon as the .inf is pulled by NTLite, It is shown by the NTLite what is that driver actually. It seems that the rest things, .dll, .sys, .cat, etc. are internally pulled by NTLite from the extracted driver folder but it does not tell those!
So, One has to just take care that the extracted driver folder contents are not changed & required .inf is picked. NTLite should be given a fair chance to pick the driver from the extracted driver folder. Don't try to directly supply .inf files without extracted driver folder's other contents.

c) The right way to integrate drivers with NTLite is here : Forum - [Guide] Integration of drivers into a Win7/8/10 image
The thing to take notice is that storage drivers & storage updates ( NVMe) are needed to be integrated into INSTALL.WIM & both editions of BOOT.WIM while others need to be integrated only into the INSTALL.WIM.
Storage Drivers : AHCI/RAID/NVMe/USB
Storage Windows Updates : If Required! NVMe Updates 2990941 & 3087873 : Update to add native driver support in NVM Express in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2
Access Denied

Download Links for NVMe Updates :

https://www.sevenforums.com/attachme...me-win7x64.zip

https://www.sevenforums.com/attachme...me-win7x86.zip

(NVMe Updates : Thanks to Sir SIW 2 for the links & Information )

One needs not integrate Microsoft NVMe updates if he gets/integrates proper NVMe driver(s) for his device(s) : Forum - Recommended AHCI/RAID and NVMe Drivers

Boot.wim has two editions : 'Windows PE' & 'Windows Setup'. Windows PE is not required for Setup & Installation but it is needed for Recovery Environment. So, if one intends to use Recovery Environment from the ISO, he should not remove it. Besides, the things integrated into Windows Setup, should be integrated into Windows PE as well.

Thanks & Regards. ...

Hi Vinet Gaarg,

I answer you to your post #99, excuse me but takes a little while to catch you all the screen of the all IDs Hardwares.

#99

Cris,
1. One information is missing!
Go to the Device Manager in win 7 & get ALL Hardware IDs & ALLCompatible IDs for 15DB : USB 3.1 Host controller.

CRIS: I caught you all the screens of ALL Hardware IDs from Windows 7, please download from WeTranfer the RAR file here: https://we.tl/t-zKQEeScoSK

2. Also answer the questions 1 & 2 from previous post #98
CRIS: Ok, this I did.

3. In the meantime i will be finding a bluetooth driver with control centre, etc. if it is there.
CRIS: Ok.

Thanks & Regards. ...

EDIT :

4. Next time when you make a reinstall : insert the USB (15DB), Samsung NVMe & All extracted Chipset .inf files in the boot.wim & install.wim
& Windows Updates in the install.wim only.

CRIS: OK

Hi Cris,
Greets,
I really appreciate your efforts & understand that it takes time.

1) Give me Compatible ID from Win7 Device Manager only for the Device :
Intel USB 3.1 Extensible Host Controller ( PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_15DB&SUBSYS_121C1462&REV_02 )
( The Compatible ID is taken the same way from Device Manager as Hardware ID, You have to just choose Compatible ID instead of Hardware ID )

2) I think you have not read post #101. There are some new facts & queries. I am not mounting any pressure but i can't suggest further without those queries answered.

3) Also read post #102. There are some facts.

Take your time & answer when you are comfortable.

(b) I could not understand what happened when you tried SCM ?
CRIS: Happaned nothing, which means the software by Icons turn on and turn off the Wireless and Bluetooth but in fact doesn't work. Which means that the hardware doesn't work, and the software does't pop up any error or problems. The SCM software, just it works as a button that switch that's it.

(c) I have understood the fsquirt trial.
CRIS: OK

I also see that you have installed Killer Performance Driver Suite in win7. Which one you used ? Is it listed in Device Manager ? If yes, How it looks in the Device Manager ? Does Device Manager entry says that the device is working correctly ? What is the hardware ID it shows there ?
CRIS: The Killer software are just rubbish software that allow you to prioritize the connection channel of each softwares that you are going to use to serfing or downloading from internet. Are just softwares to managment the channels if the Hardwares works. If the hardware doens't work the software it's installed but is not related to the functionally of the hardware. Doesn't install any Hardware ID, because it's just a software and that's it (they write it even in them oifficial site about these softwares, especially under my model Killer 1550).

CRIS: As you can see from all my "IDs screen shots", the strange thing that the bluetooth even if it's installed without problems, is not listed out at all in Device Manager.I was thinking if we need manually to install the drivers managers build-in inside the Windows 7 OS like the Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI),maybe as you said it is not enough for Windows 7 the proper Drivers.

As i have already said above, Killer Control Center may be useless or useful for you but it is not required for the basic functionality. That work is always done well by a proper win7 driver.

CRIS: Yes, axactly when i say it's Useless, I would like to say that the softwares from Killer Lan it's just not required for the basic functionalityof the hardware.

I ask you to not uninstall the Killer & Intel Bluetooth drivers as of now. There is a possibility that one more driver is not installed which may be crucial. I will be able to tell about it tomorrow.

CRIS:Thank you Vineet Garg, I already followed and studiet this Guide from Fernando and from another site. I make perfetly what they teach and was quitely usefull them Guides. But in the beginning, honestly, I didn't went sooo deep about how it' works exactly the software how the own software search and inject the drivers, because I didn't know well about the inf. files .dll or .sys. I remember that I read this but at that time I was concentrated to study how I should inject the drivers in correct way...

Storage Drivers : AHCI/RAID/NVMe/USB

Storage Windows Updates : If Required! NVMe Updates 2990941 & 3087873 : Update to add native driver support in NVM Express in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

Cris,

1) You did not give me the link for Bluetooth & Killer Driver Performance Suite that you have installed now.

2) Your analysis & understanding about Killer Software is not all correct. The Killer Software contains hardware drivers + Utilities. Yes it has basic drivers also! So, we can't avoid everything from Killer. What we can just do is extract its software & get 'Killer Driver Performance Suite.msi ' & run that for the minimum driver installation. To say again : we can't avoid all the extra stuff from Killer but should be most of it by just running the 'Killer Driver Performance Suite.msi'
Update : 'Killer Performance Drive Suite' installs 'Killer Control Center',etc. extra stuff. I have found a good website with genuine drivers. The website offers basic drivers that doesn't install those extras.

3. EDIT: Did you understand what happened with you ? You Installed driver packages from Killer. The driver packages have Utilities, etc. extra stuff + Drivers. The utilities, etc. extra stuff is compatible with win 7 so, got installed. But the drivers are/ is not so they did not.

I want to have a complete look from your Win7 Device Manager.
( By Device Manager complete look, I mean only the main listing/tree of all the Devices )

Just to mention :

a) DevManView can load & analyze an Offline OS. In the DevManView, choose Options & Advanced Options. That will enable you to look into Win 10 devices from within Win7 OS.

b) In the start, You said that you used DISM GUI & added .sys, .dll files to add drivers. The traditional DISM also works primarily with .inf files! So, i was just thinking what is that DISM utility that asks to insert .sys, .dll files to add drivers to the ISO ? I think that is wrong what you say ?
Update : Dealing with drivers : DISM GUI, Traditional DISM, NTLite & Device Manager works the same way. All of them give two options for the driver : pull from the extracted driver folder Or directly supply .inf file. Senior Sir told me whatever be the way, don't change/eliminate items/contents from the extracted driver folder. It will enable the automatic pulling of other driver related files/payloads & then only the proper installation will take place.
( Thanks Sir! )

c) Be clear you have to integrate USB 3.1 ( 15DB) , Samsung NVMe, Chipset driver in the INSTALL WIM & BOOT WIM. Windows Updates have to be installed only in the INSTALL WIM.
We need not use NVMe Updates.

Let me know.

Thanks & Regards. ...
