    Win7 + USB 3.0 for H370M ... Win7 installed. Rejects correct driver !?

Very frustrating the amount of work required for Win7 ... I guess it's a testament to just how bad Win10 is.

Anyway, I've succeeded in getting the OS installed and have access through TeamViewer - obviously have Network support ... what hasn't worked are the drivers people say works. :) In fact, for that matter ... I extracted the drivers for this system while running Win10 on it ... and [those!] drivers don't work.

    What I'm desperate for are:

USB 3.0 + 3.1 extensible ... (which are rejected despite PCI Repository confirming they're correct).

Some display driver ... though, HD 630 (it's an 8700k) apparently 'can't work' on this system.
"This computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements for installing the software"

Someone somewhere said something about the INF file ...
maybe changing the names? But I'm not sure if that's accurate for this problem nor the steps involved.

Anyone want me to try something
    Provide other info ?

I'd be grateful to do so and will do it ASAP.

For anyone who's frustrated I'm trying to do this:
    I can't have a system install updates / reboot -- at random.
I don't have time to figure out why something that worked -- STOPPED working.
(OH! the firewall decides to turn back on.)
    I LOATHE Win10

It is just the wrong OS for data recovery -- which is what I do with it.

    Thank you in advance.

1.Graphics driver for coffeelake intel 8th gen cpu
    https://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/ev...Driver_2.0.rar
right click the link and select save as to download.

    merge the reg file first.

Then use device manager to browse to the driver folder.

Thank you very much. Very hopeful that GPU driver works ... and just got some other info on installing USB 3.0 and will mirror it here if it's successful.

2.You will likely need a pcie to usb3 card if you want to use usb3 on a 370 board.
Hey dude! That was awesome! It's installed and shows that it's working correctly - and though it says its working properly and shows the UHD 630 I'm not getting video.

Are there secondary drivers that I need to install simultaneously to that?

    Thanks!

    I'm not getting video
Then how can you see it has installed correctly? You have rebooted, I assume.

How did you install them? Did you do it via device manager and browse?

I'm using TeamViewer which still provides an image -- even at the resolution it's set at. But the physical display connected is black.

    Any suggestions?

(I should have thought about how counterintuitive that'd sound and mentioned that before) ...

Thanks again for all the help.

I don't have a machine to test it on. You could try a different type of connection from your pc to monitor

I can point you to what others have done.

I'm thinking the issue is that the thread is discussing 310 chipset / BIOSTAR ... and mine is a:

    Gigabyte H370M with i7-8700k + UHD 630
    Hardware: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3E92&SUBSYS_D0001458&REV_00

If anyone has suggestions with respect to the info provided I'd be grateful.

The graphics driver above should work on your cpu device ID 3E92 regardless of chipset. I'm wondering if windows is not loading your monitor as the primary monitor. Check in bios to make sure integrated graphics are selected as the primary monitor (as opposed to pci-e), and also try using other video ports on the motherboard, if you have that option.

There may be a solution to this on the win-raid forum. Check the thread below:
